For the overwhelming bulk of Belgian aero patents, see BE K.
BE L has designates the following:
"Machines et mécaniques: générateurs et moteurs a vapeur, moteurs a explosions, compresseurs et moteurs a air et a eau, machines-utiles, transmissions de movement, pompes et robinetterie, etc."
That is, "Machines and mechanics: generators and steam engines, explosion engines, compressors and air and water engines, machine-tools, motion transmissions, pumps and valves, etc. "
Though Dutch-language inclusion within the overall bilingual RdBdI format seems to have been largely a matter of political politeness, with actual patent material making deference to the prestige of the French language, in this case the Dutch phraseology of this classification is nevertheless illustrative:
"Kracht- en drijfwertuigen: stoomketels en -motors, ontplofmotors, lucht- en wale druk- en motorwerktuigen, drijfwerk, pompen en kraunmakerij, enz."
(The above "lucht", analogous to the German "luft", has specifically to do with flight, per se, with no confusion having to do with other usages related to words pertinent to "air" more generally.)
BE L seemingly attains aero-pertinence largely by way of motors.Patents in category BE L
