J. Owden O'Brien

British chartered patent agent J. Owden O'Brien was a successor to and late of W.P. Thompson & Co. of Manchester, U.K.[1]

In the case of Patent GB-1893-4589 it's not completely clear (based on the source Abridgment of patent specifications), whether O'Brien was the "patent agent" or the "applicant person" (or how much of a distinction there was at the time.)
